Research: Understanding generational expectations of health care providers
As a marketing agency, we work with health care providers to expand their business and provide great customer service by providing knowledge about what the market expects. To support our clients, Tschetter & Associates has undertaken a research study in both a rural and metropolitan areas.
In this study, younger generations will be asked what is important to them as they choose their physicians, eye doctors and dentist. The study’s focus is about how they make their decisions and what influences them.
Why younger generations? Although current literature says that Generation Y and Baby Boomers are much alike – we want to test that knowledge. Do health care choices and decision making differ from their parents and grandparents? Does growing up with the internet where information is readily available change health care expectations? The answers lies in the response from the participants of this study.
“We look forward to learning the opinions of younger generations,” says Cande Tschetter, Ph.D., and chief researcher. “What we think we know and what these study participants tell us might be very different, only research can confirm or challenge our knowledge.”
